Can-struction 2011

Can-struction 2011 was a huge success! This year's theme was "Extinction of Hunger", and we chose to build a dodo bird. A big thank you goes out to the Mid-Missouri professional section, and to everyone who helped build the bird. We even won an award for "Best Use of Labels"! SWE Meeting Next Thursday!

The next general meeting is Thursday, March 3rd @ 5:30 p.m. in E1419. Lt. Richards from the U.S. Navy will be speaking on "Good Leadership Practices", and free pizza will be provided!

If you're interested in being an officer next year, come and find out about all of the positions available, as well as the application process. We'll also talk about the upcoming events of E-Week and have sign-ups for March MSEPs!

SWE Meeting Thursday!

Don't forget, SWE will be meeting this Thursday (February 10th) at 6:30 p.m., in E1419. Bring your planner to sign up for upcoming outreach events, and get ready for SWE trivia, prizes, and free Olive Garden! See you Thursday!

SWE Meeting Rescheduled!

The February SWE meeting will be next Thursday, February 10th at 6:30 p.m. in E1419. We'll be discussing numerous upcoming events, including some exciting volunteer opportunities!

If you haven't picked up your 2010-11 SWE shirt, they'll be available at the meeting for $7. And of course there will be free food!
